Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.

Mine didn't have any play. But when I unbolted the back one, it was seized so much I couldn't move it by hand.

Is there any squeeking when you back up? That seems to be a typical sign of a u-joint.

I have not had it done, unless the PO did it but I really don’t think they did. they only had the truck for just under 25k lol.

FOX did do the spiral spring on mine one day when i went in for oil change. came and told me truck was ready and that they did it.

it’s behind the steering wheel. pretty much controls horn and air bag and all. and if you have them the steering wheel radio controls. has been know to go bad, and they did a recall on it. Idk if it’s all 05+ or just certain years. but I know my truck had the recall, I got the later in the mail. I also asked a guy on here that works at a dealer(not from TN) but he said they wont do anything unless the air bag light is on. well My air bag light was not on, but they did it anyways.

head light? and fix the floor mat one by getting some weather tech digital fit. I have them front and back and love them!

In fact they saved my back floor board the other day. I got some freezy pops at wally world, and left them in the truck over night. well one leaked all over the floor mat, but it did not leave the floor mat. It has dried up now, i need to pull it out and wash them. They will hold quite a bit of water or what ever in them. they have like 1/4’"to 1/2” sides. I have some pic in my build of them.

When I ordered that O ring they pulled up the recalls and told me about the floor mats and something about the high beams intermittently not working. Said new switch and gave me a choice of new carpeted floor mats or all weather rubber mats. I went with the black all weather. They called today to let me know all the parts are in so going tomorrow since I am only at the office for 1/2 day to have it done.
