Nice! I have my own CNC mill and like to finish off 80% lowers. Fun stuff! I scratch built a 10/22 magnum for my Dad one time as well.

    Wanna be friends? lol

I have been interested in 80% lowers for awhile, just haven't had the time or money to find a place locally that will accommodate. Then again I haven't looked recently.

Thanks bro, yea It's going to be a slower build, I've got some other projects on the house that need funding.

Thanks! yea thats sick, My buddy has done the same. He's the one i bought the lower from. He bought 10 back when everyone and their mom wanted an AR15.

He's selling lowers if anyone is interested. Aero Precision stripped lowers, I think he has 5 left. :)

    Nice! Good lowers.

    My firearms projects:

    2 80% AR15 lowers
    1 80% AR10 lower
1 80% Tactical 10/22 receiver (its a fun project, I have an M1 carbine style stock that goes with it, standard taper barrel.)
    1 Kentucky Rifle (almost done)

I let my shop get out of hand and messy so all projects are on hold till I clean. lol

You ever help people out with 80 builds :spy:?

I have a couple I'm sitting on but the only place close enough to help me finish would be in Modesto which is about 2 hours away as a $80 mill rental fee.

*disclaimer I know I would be performing the entire process myself

Local places won't accomodate 80% lowers anymore because the ATF ruled that any place with a cnc w/ an 80% cutting program loaded and jig setup for cutting an 80% for a third party is not eligible for the definition of homebuilt firearm and would in fact be manufacturing an illegal firearm unless they had the proper FFL class to manufacture firearms for sale (and all the requirements that apply ie serial #) and properly dros/transfer (and all the requirements that apply ie waiting period).

The only places that will consider are places with a manual mill and generally aren't in the bay area. However, $80 bucks is actually rather reasonable.

And people laughed at my hook....well it just proved itself.

Someone just hit the back of my parked truck and they damaged their own vehicle. Not a single mark on babytruck.

I imagine what i just went through at work is what bootcamp must be like only with less yelling and more warm water.

It had to be under 20 bucks because it was a gift at a Christmas exchange and the limit was 20.
