If you follow the plan guidelines at rebootwithjoe.com (the Aussie from Fat Sick & Nearly Dead movie), 12-20oz 4-6 times a day.

Started day 5 off with enjoying stepping on the scale. ..I'm down 6.6lb now!

Quick day 11 juice fast update after my bad news day 10 update:

I'm down 2.8lbs from yesterday which supports my theory 100%. The funny thing is it's almost exact since I had settled in to losing 1.4lbs per day pretty regularly so if I was going to guess at my loss for today I would have set it at 2.8lbs. Spot on! This means that even the 'low sodium' V8 juice isn't fit for a juice fast. It's too high salt content which means that your body will retain water and it will skew the weight numbers. Keeping hydrated is important while doing this juice fast so the last thing you want is a bunch of added sodium in your system. 18.0lbs so far and should be cracking the 20lb mark by the weekend. I can't wait to see the 260's on the scale!

Before you buy compare it to the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juice Extractor that you can get at Walmart or Amazon for $59 shipped. I don't really track what I take in but as I've said before I think it's somewhere around 6-8 8oz glasses per day. I read a few places that said these guidelines are loose so you should listen to your body. I basically drink water all day long and when I feel hungry I drink some juice. I let my body tell me when it needs juice and so far that's worked just fine. I really think that once I'm done with this juice fast I will have an easier time breaking the hold that crappy eating habits had on me and will begin a more healthy lifestyle which will help to lose even more weight over time and make me healthier long-term.

    Yeah, it is.

Yeah, those numbers sounds pretty accurate to what I'm taking in I guess. Haven't really measured it and everyone is different so my thought is that it's more important to make sure you're getting enough for you which may be different than me. 6.6lbs in 5 days is nothing to sneeze at. Good job!

Here's my stats since last Monday morning (11 days):

    Starting Weight: 290.8
    Current Weight: 272.8
    Previous Weight: 275.4
    Lost since last: 2.6
    Total Weight lost: 18.0

    :p

Sounds like there's a few people there and here. Someone was just saying that they knew someone who say me post on another forum so I'm assuming it's the same one you're on since I'm only posting it on that forum and this thread.

Awesome numbers man, sounds like your motivation should have you well on your way!

Yeah I just joined here yesterday, got my Tacoma the day before. Wasn't able to swing a second gen at the moment, but ended up with a clean first gen

Welcome! What's your username there? Are you posting in the juice thread?

Tacoma is a Tacoma dude. You did better than those idiots over there buying Dodge Rams and then thinking they're clever for poking me with a stick because I own a Tacoma. Reminds me of the Mexican President condemning American for our way of life. Maybe they should just get a Tacoma. :D

Lol! Thanks man, same screen name. Between Jeeps (I know forbidden word), Toys, and guns, I'm on at least ten different forums, same name tho.

Yup that's me, and no prob. I got very plump at one point, so I've been down the weight loss road (actually need to get rid of the "baby" weight I put on over the last 10 months lol).

You are pretty good at not giving a crap what people say, and doing your thing. Others are not always as good at brushing the nay sayers off, so every time someone posts negative feedback, with all if their infinite wisdom, it's kind of a downer for some. At any rate, keep up the good work!

Yeah, I've been told that could also be construed as being a stubborn asshole. :D

Thanks man, hopefully others see that thread as an inspiration to get healthy regardless of what method they decide to use. It seems that posting this stuff on forums was a good thing rather than keep it to myself. I debated posting anything, especially on a firearm forum but am glad that it's been (mostly) well received.
