help with hella 500 FFs

alright guys. as some of you may know i put some hella 500 FF's in and wired them according to the stupid diagram. AND THEY WONT TURN ON! im pretty effin sure it is wired correctly unless the diagram is wrong itself but crap it just wont turn on! I also dont understand why the green wire has to be wired to the high beam.

yeh i grounded it to like a gazillion different things :[ or should i just keep trying. is the connection to the high beam necessary also? i connected it but im just wondering if it is

i wouldn't run it to your high beams just to a separate switch.

and fwiw atleast 8 out of 10 timee there's a problem with a ground.

 

If you can scan the wiring diag and post it here, I believe a lot of brother can help you out!
Also I will not suggest you connect the green wire to high beam, I guess is the green wire is for cut off the hella 500, when u on the high beam.
Please post the wiring diag here and talk about it.

 

any answers to this question yet. i tried to wire my hellas up today with the diagram and it didnt work. i didnt hook the green wire either as i really didnt see it needed.

 

I ran my Hellas with the switch they provided. I just tap the switch off the radio fuse. I did this because when the ACC is on, the radio is on, hence the Hellas will be on too.

Like what was previously stated, there maybe an issue with a good ground.

 

I installed mine today and had a bit of trouble. just make sure everything is grouned correctly. and you need to atleast complete the circuit with the green wire so run it from the switch right back to the battery, thats what i did. that way you can turn them on whenever you please.
