Hahah yea. I'm actually leaning towards 4runners still. I love the new ones...LT'd and supercharged would be sexy.

 

Bumpers are the target of a new bill they are looking to pass. It will make bumpers an item they check at smog and if its not a DOT approved bumper they will levy fines. Since plate bumpers and tube bumpers don't have the crumple zone (with the exception of ARB) they will not pass.

 

That is so fucking stupid.

 

Well, I'm thinking that in a few years (at least) once the Taco is paid off, depends on where I'm at with the build, I can sell it and put down a good deposit on a used 4runner (current model) with hopefully low miles and work in a supercharger in the deal.

I'll look for it, was talking to the shop about it. I guess it has to deal with the fact that metal bumpers without a crumple zone make Prius look like a matchbox when you hit them.
