Well I pulled the coax and redid it a bit, but part f the coax by the antenna had the rubber part rubbed off as must have been grounding on the bed of the truck. So I taped it back up to see of that was the issue and it appeared to be. Tuned it and checked the tuning multiple time through the install to see if anything else I did would change it and it stayed pretty much the same. Thankfully the cb does not fuck with the sub when I key it as talk like it did befor e


Also bought dead space and borderlands 2 today

 

Oh. I missed that is had a lock on it. haha. I thought you much unlock as in unlatch or something. haha

 

So do you guys have any cool ideas for this? I wanted to add Skinkwerks Rockware & Fabrication onto a pic for my sig as advertising for Ben, but marketing isn't my thing... haha

You need a spring with firestiks. They aren't that flexible.

I like my mount. Works good.

Dead space is sweet. Seriously freaky so,e times. I met the guy that did the music for it and showed us how it was programmed to loop.

 

If you are doing that you should a border to the pic, or edit the border with a cool effect, and add a bit of effect to the letters

Ya you were right. Glad it was easy to spot and resolve. The swr still tunes up by 2, and there was no way to lower that. But it works fine so I'm keepin it.

Apparently according to my recent reading. A 2 in SWR is more acceptable now as tech as gotten better anyway. If you got 3 miles out of it then your definitely good

what you think I just played with the meter and didnt do anything? of course I tuned it. But after playing with it for 30 min my best tuning was ch 1 at 2 swr and ch 40 at 1.8. same with ch 19, it was at about 1.8. so my radio just likes higher channels to broadcast the best

 

Well if you wanted to get really anal then you could make them match and yeah when they are the same pretty much. That is about what you get.

well i figured id rather have half the channels lower than 2 than all of them at 2 since anything over 2 means its not working as well as it could be
