Which UCA is better..??

For sure... I'm still debating but Now I find out that it's primarly to fix alignment with a 3 or more inch lift on the stock upper control.... I'm gonna be installing 4" spindles next week and it should be fine.... But we will see.... Thanks for your input...

 

If I can't get the shop to get my camber straightned out, I've been looking at these as a possibilty. They cost a bunch but maybe after a few years they will pay for themselves in the tires I won't be eating anymore.

Do you have any aftermarket uca's installed on your truck now?

 

Have you considered Light Racing UCA's?

 

No I don't. I just have the Revtek and stock parts.

 

How do you adjust for camber with those arms? I don't see where any adjustment points are.

 

You should be ok with the Total chaos or Camburg poly bushing uca's only. I don't think you will need the heim joint uca's from TC. If you crank your coilovers to 2 inches+ you should be alright.

I have the Icon UCA's and they are very nice.. I get complimented a lot on them and asked who they are made by.. They are basically indestructible

 

Right on bro.... Does it really make a differnce in the ride..?? Cuz I'm going to get spindles and Ill finally be able to take the pressure off the stock upper control arm.... My point is that, is it really needed...??

 

If you like billet, go with Icon. If you like tubular style, go with TC.

Light Racing might be the only UCA that has adjustments for caster and camber.

 

About how much are the Chaos UCA's?

Geezzzz!! that is half the cost of the lift. I am new at this and reading a lot and not learning because I am just more confused and don't have the all the time in the world to research. Not working 80 hours a week in my restaurant and having a family. I would guess UCA's are not necessary unless you are having alignment issues?

 

Yea your right about the alignment issue.... It's a good idea to get if u have that problem.... It's also good to get if u need more travel if u got adjustable or aftermarket coilovers.... You also really have to think about what u r lookong for in a lift....?? Is it for show or r u gonna have fun with it and actually use it in a sense..??

 

Damn!! 12 hours a day, 6 days a week is only 72 hours. Then an 8 hour Sunday shift. Wow, you are extremely devoted. I wish I could work like that.

 

I was working 16 hour days but now down to 13-15. That's the restaurant biz for you.
