I'll be swapping on some Method wheels, adding some Rigid Industries lights and some more armor then ill be leaving it alone. Already ordered a CBI rear bumper and swing out and sliders for it. A little over built for a DD but I'll take it

Sweet ride! and one of the best years for a 4 runner hands down!! Are we taking bets as to when you break down and start with the mods? (just one mod, it will make you feel good)

Also.. the steelies look good! keep them IMO! :D

"Mods" have technically already started but I wont build thing thing nearly as much as I did my Tacoma. I'm hoping to have the rear wind deflector and the lights on by this weekend.

Wheels have to go, strictly Methods in this household! After the Bumper and Sliders I'll eventually end up doing skids, race radio and possibly a CB. Nothing more than that tho, doesn't make sense to build a DD that much again when I have my truck to wheel too.

First hill is definitely rutted and rocky and the if you take the route I think you guys will, that last downhill has a nasty hole.
Luis.. you better send the goat out with the flashlight to spot :p

Did this recently happen? We were out there 5 months ago and all of it was open..
Jaime and James were out there very recently, maybe they can shed some light on the situation.

Yea we were out there on June 16th, but I'm not sure about anything being closed. I did see a few side trails with signs that said no Jeeps/4x4's, but it always seemed like there were multiple options and a lot of the trails crisscrossed each other. It was dark though , so we certainly could have missed something.

Hopefully b4iceman can chime in as well.

That is def shedding some light on the situation.. if Quintin gets lost just listen for the train horn :p

cmack, just head up the back of the pack behind Luis and Patrick when the sand happens, those guys can fly.. (b4iceman is usually back there as well, he wont leave you if you get into trouble.) I started losing air and he stayed back to help me remedy the situation while the rest of the crew played last time we all went out. Really, none of this crew is the type to leave anyone behind but I don't blame them for wanting to speed a little. Its what they are set up for. :D
If you jump over the freeway to sycamore, that's when it will get more fun for the Mid and LT setups.. but you still have the widow-maker to play on :)

Whoops and a solid front axle is not very fun.. that is for sure

I think the gate at the entrance would be locked if it was really closed by the forest service. Not very hard for them to post a sign and chain that bitch up... which would suck, but it happens when idiots don't respect the land.
That is one thing Ive always hated about Table Mesa, just a mess of shells and garbage. :(
