Na. I had some Rustoleum automotive primer & flat black from another project. So I thought I'd try it. Cleaned the emblem off with a degreaser/cleaner first. It came out more of a satin sheen - matches the rest of the grill really well.

But Thats why style of sticker I my self would never put on. only because then people will KNOW FOR A FACT you own a gun, and maybe more likely to break in to the truck to see if it is inside. also kicker sticker, look cool but also tell people you most likely have a good sound system inside.

But hey maybe thats just me that would not do those kinda stickers for those reasons.

 

Ordered WeatherTechs, and a Kurgo dog hammock and door protectors.

Maybe later I'll go to Home Depot, and maybe Bed Bath and Beyond? But I don't know if I'll have time..

Just engine for now, but my next maintenance will be for 30,000. You recommend synthetic for differential?

 

I can't remember if it was just posts back and forth or a thread but a few months ago (when I did my diff service) I ran across information that said the difference is minuscule.

 

I just switched to synthetic everything a few weeks ago and have picked up .5 to 1.5mpg. But can't say if its that or the sea foam I ran through her.

 

I think with a 1 year old vehicle the sea foam didn't do a dang thing. There's not point in doing it that soon.

 

30,000 miles, I'm sure it didn't hurt and know it cleaned out build up since I had a pending "rich mixture" code and smoked out the neighborhood.

 

According to the guy that regeared my truck he said synthetic in the diffs are useful if you are doing extreme rock crawling or High speed LT stuff. Other than that it is waste of money. Going all synthetic is f'n expensive. I remember I did all both diffs and transfer case it was like 120 bucks. :/

 

Unfortunately I agree. You are asking for unwanted trouble my friend. On a sidenote, I too am a proud Glock owner!

 

I bought this stuff from walmart for $3-4 per quart. Practically as cheap as non-synthetic.
