    Glendale is actually attached right to the northwest side of Phoenix (you can't tell where Phoenix ends and Glendale begins, except for the trailers), and is polar opposite from Gilbert by about 50 miles.

    How is the cost of living out there. I was looking at appts and houses and it didn't seem to expensive. Ill research it more online later but was jw about personal experience

    More expensive in places like scottsdale / ahwatukee - then tempe (college town) chandler - then gilbert - then other places like glendale and phoenix start to get cheap. It really depends on where within those towns you are.

    It's all relative though, because cost of living in general down here is cheapp compared to most places.
