Added more caulking and weatherstripping at the very back of the bed and the tailgate. Should finally keep the dust out. Put some zipties on my underbedrail strip LED's at the corners, they were coming loose.

Waiting on my BudBuilt 4-piece skidplates to arrive. Trying to decide on a 1.5"-2" lift kit. After that and some 265's I should be about done.

Oh wait, better D-rings, another anchor hook at the top frontsides of the bed, and THAT should about do it.

    Giggity.

Nitrogen in tires to my knowledge has no benefit whatsoever.

My coworker is a refer mechanic and he put R12 in his tires and now they run cooler. Should increase tire life.

They fill F1 cars' tires with nitrogen because it maintains more stable pressures throughout the heating cycles the tires are subject to

Aircraft tires use nitrogen because it won't support combustion and as oz said more stable in the heating cycle.

Sensible enough for F1, but for passenger tires..?
I'm sure that F1 teams use a higher grade than Midas, too.

    The concept is the same

Your debunking comment suggested it was untrue

Yep, because I recall reading about it being a useless upgrade. Now if passenger cars can utilize aircraft and F1 technology then cool, but because it works in extreme conditions doesn't mean it has benefit in mundane conditions.

    Hence my question.

I have friends who work in tire shops and they use low grade nitrogen and that the biggest benefit is profit. So if untrue, I'd be curious. But that's the same info I've read in publications several times, and tend to believe them.

    Don't use nitrogen if you don't want to , I don't
