A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
$3500 trade? Wow. As far as mods/upgrades...take them off. Lift, wheels and all. Grab a hold of some stock wheels if I where you.

I don't have any wheels. Just thought I'd give my .02 and say don't trade in for that price. You could probably sell it for twice that.

Wow...I got $14K for my 2004 TRD OR Access with 50K miles. It also had a dented front end from a deer and a dented rear quarter panel from a mailbox (damn ice).

It was a mess inside too because I didn't plan on buying when I stopped at the dealership.

FYI, I got my 09 DC TRD SPORT for a $13.4K upgrade cost ($27,300).

I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. You won't be able to use any of the parts on an '09. Though you might be able to sell it, the price someone would pay depends on how many miles you've put on it.

Find a highschool kid w/ a daddy who has a thick wallet and tack on the lift kit as the asking price. If not, part the lift.

if you are going to leave all the goodies on it then you are better off selling it yourself... dealerships give you pennies for aftermarket products on trade ins as you already found out.

throw that up on craigslist... i'm sure you'll get some bites

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
    Wow $3,500 for a trade...
Mods do make trades less valuable to dealers.. But that is crazy..
