BFG All Terrain 245/75/R16 Pics?

Man, I like the looks of your 245's. Have any side profile photos of your RC?

 

Waiting for RTT to arrive and them mount Porta-Bote before I do anything suspension wise, but planning on bringing front up 1.75-2.5" and adding 1" block or 1.5" add-a-leaf to the rear depending on how it sits loaded.

Hey guys, if anyone, i know youre all pissed, i read everything on the thread....but will it make a difference in weight if i go from the 16 inch steelies to some 16 inch wheels from a trd offroad tacoma that a friend gave me? If so how much? I wanna go with the 245's all terrains

I wonder what the weight difference is between the BFG AT and the 6-ply Duratracks in a 265...

 

I'll chime in. My white 03 DC was a 4cy. I was running some knock off 265/75/16 MT's with steel wheels. Gas was horrible! lol

Traded her in and got a silver 04 DC V6. They wouldnt let me swap wheels, whatever. Truck came with aluminum wheels (I think) and 245/75/16 BFG AT's. Gas mileage is a bit better than my 03.

If you were closer I would give you a good deal on my AT's. I wanna get some MT's

 

Looks to me like if you just got a different set of rims, like 16x8 or 9 with about a 4 inch back space (and maybe some negative offset) you will achive the look you are looking for. If you are not doing any real hardcore wheeling I don't see anything wrong with sticking with the dunlops, for now, then just get some winter tires for the steelies.

 

This has been pretty interesting. I have actually have 265/75r16 Maxxis Bighorns on Method Wheels. I was looking at getting a set of 245/75r16 Blizzak DM-V1 for winter tires on the OEM Off-Road Alloys. I'd like to save the Methods from the liquid salt solution the Road Commissions are using this time of year.

I was kind of torn until seeing vtmactech's truck. I also have an ARB bumper, and this might work out pretty good. Especially for the cost savings of the 245, and mpg saver.

 

The stock steelies weigh around 32 lbs each. I'm not sure how much the aluminum offroads weigh but I bet it's probably in the neighborhood of half give or take. You should be able to find that online though. - Great start to your post by the way - haha.
