Reports of a tornado on Pikes Peak. We're currently sitting on 24 since a huge storm is coming. May be another flood. We're in a safe spot though.

Haha I always have some on. I just was going to put on a little more that time haha

We call my dad Forest Gump because he's always in the right place at the right time. And we like to follow the action.

This deserves a HUGE CONGRATS! :D

Did you get the big mouth yet or did you have to order it? Went to Natures Oasis today & got a juice for lunch (apple wheatgrass lime). SO MUCH BETTER than Bolthouse & the other pre-pacs, nowhere near as sweet. Found another bottled line of true juices there also. ... brand is called It Tastes Raaw...picked up a passion fruit wheatgrass flavor to try later today. Downside is that they're $3 for 12oz.

I only dropped 1/2lb from yesterday because I ate raw veggies for dinner last night. Had to give my palate a break from all the sweetness. Still very proud of my will power this week. ..I even bought brownies for work & didn't touch them.

Thanks but I got a ways to go yet. I'm at the 1/3 point which feels good but I know that next 2/3 won't be as quick. I may also have to amend my original goal to more than 60lbs in 60 days but I don't want to get the cart ahead of the horse. So far it's going well though.

I did and it's a better juicer than the LaLanne Power Juicer I had for sure. I just haven't used it as much because 1) juicing is a PITA with clean-up and such 2) it's been kind of expensive so far on ingredients and 3) I keep having set backs whenever I do juice in the way of additional sodium which slows my progress among other things. I need to find some better recipes and stop experimenting with my own I guess but that one you posted sounds pretty good. I think I need to mix more veggies & fruits as most times I make juice I use all veggies since I'm looking for a change from the sweet fruit juices. I'm also caught between wanting to make smaller batches so they're fresh and making larger batches since clean-up is such a PITA. Still relying on mostly store bought juices at this point.

Give your pallet a break? What kind of pussy shit is that?

    :D ;) :p

The Jeep / 4x4 show wasn't that impressive. Maybe I just got there late but my buddy and I left underwhelmed.

Since The Man Show went off the air I've been increasingly unimpressed by things with 'show' in the title.

4x4 shows don't really seem like they used to be. The majority of them everyone just sits around. I miss when they had rocks to play on, awards given, teeter totters, raffles, RTI ramps...

Hey I have one, so I have the automatic right to be one. :p :D

guess I'm gonna pull the trigger & get a big mouth. I think the ingredient costs are going to be a wash for me honestly. ... what I was spending eating out is just being replaced. I've been randomly combining stuff i had at home already when I've been using the bullet. It's really been a hit or miss project lol.

If you get plastic bags from the store, you can line the pulp bin with those for easier clean up & forego buying liners specific to juicers.

A lot of people say juicing is expensive but I haven't found that to be the case at all. Hell, eating out once is practically the price of what I pay for an entire day of juice with store bought juice.

Pro tip: I found that vegetable bags fit very well in the pulp bin in the Hamilton Beach juicer and are free.

Genius with trying some kind of bag in pulp collector.

I have a Breville JE98XL that replaced the juicer I got when I first tried juicing Nov of '12.

The first one was some walmart $35 POS and while it worked for the 4-5 days I used it, I hated the whole design and limitations.

Breville one eats through anything, seems to produce more juice, easier to clean. I did like 4-5 days again just a couple weeks ago but was eating chicken breast or fish for small dinner, just couldn't resist. Dropped 7lbs. In the ~2 weeks since then, i've eaten sensibly and am still at the same weight I was at the end of juicing. Could definitely go for another week run though before I go vacation and see family in Virginia. Just too damn hard to make juice and clean up in the morning before work, so I fast at work.. then can't resist consuming tons when I finally get home in the evening.

Keep posting #'s though, if I can get back in to it starting Monday or something I'll also record my progress. I was getting ridiculous light headed feelings though a couple weeks ago mid juice run, like stand up slowly even and feel like you're going to pass out. Worst part is I could feel my heart thudding in my throat, it was actually pretty painful.

Damn, that sounds shitty. I haven't experienced anything like that fortunately.

As for juicers, I am tempted to order up the Breville BJE200XL to try out as that one seems to get good reviews too. I'm just at a place where I'm not really sure how much use the juicer is even going to get. It doesn't help that every time I use it I seem to take a step back in my progress.
