Regular high beams (I really need to do the anytime fog mod)

(China made quality or lack thereof really stands out on these- the two spots have slightly different patterns, and the spots and floods are noticeably different color temperatures)

Here's what I actually like most about this roof rack thing- the LED's on the sides
I never realized how freaking handy it was to have em till I was finding a camp spot this weekend and settin up tents in the dark!

And tonight's mod:
Under hood lights with pressure switch

Put this right in the shiny dot sticker & it lines up perfectly with the rubber bumper above, making it extremely easy to adjust later.

These bastards are nearly impossible to solder.
So, grab an old dc converter plug from that printer/ fax machine/ phone charger etc you have Lying around, cut the ends off and wrap them around the wire you're trying to solder, so that when you do make good contact, the strip turns on (and off as soon as you break the contact and have to re solder it eleven times)!
Also,
Put two or three layers of shrink wrap to make the solder point stiffer. One layer makes it too easy to break the delicate solder points.

Use the heavy duty 3M mounting tape- the adhesive that comes on them won't last under the hood.
Also, find a better layout than I did here. The wiring is far below my usual standards

But oh damn.

I worry what I'll do with my time if I keep up this pace and run out of mods...

Rear shocks then 33's. a month or so out and I should be sitting 5-6 inches higher.
