FYI they blocked off the entrance/exit near the Nursery now, only bikes can fit through there..

 

Tell ya what, for as easy as PV is when dry it can be an absolute bitch with a little rain or snow for that matter, alot of clay in that top soil, it turns orange almost & slick as hell, you can't stand on it without slipping/falling down.....sux...

 

I've gone out there a few times when it's muddy...agreed...I've never gone past the helo pad though(in the mud)...I know how steep and tight some of the trail is past that...wouldn't want to fuck around in the mud on that...unless I had a caravan of 4WD's with me

 

Yep, if you went down the hill to the mining camp you'd have to stay until it dried out some, whether it was a couple hours or a couple days..

We had to leave 1 members truck on the side of Los Pinos~ mnt. look out for 3 days couple years ago in corral canyon

Anybody know if Corral Canyon is open, thinking about going riding there tomorrow morning.

Wasnt sure because of the big fire they had out there if it got closed or not, they tend to close everything within 20 miles when there is a brush fire...

Found a new riding buddy, 23 year old kid that is sofucking fast! Finally I have somebody to chase!!
