I'll play....I'm sort of a shifter collector. It's not a taco, but FJ's are in the same family. I have in my collection the orginal TTSE shifter that is silver, #1 pool ball with matching mini ball for the 4wd, and this set done in red with any logo I wanted....done by Ellis Precision out of Canada. He did the matching handles too....and battery clamp....and oil cap....and...lol

 

Where'd you get that one?

Honestly.... I don't think you would believe me if I told you.

Autozone. I was in there buying some anti seize when changing my spark plugs and ran across this for $19. It was the only one they had but I really liked how it looked. It's all stainless steel and heavy as hell. Haven't seen one there since so I don't know if it is a usual stock item or not.

 

Wow... never would have guess that! I like the look of it, nice and clean

 

Yeah... You know what most of the ones there look like. "Boy racer shit". But this one stood out.

Didn't see it there. Don't believe it was a "Mr Gasket" one. I threw the package away a while back so I don't remember the brand and there is no stamp on the knob.

Aluminum not stainless steel it seems. Still feels heavy and solid.

I have one of these TRD knobs.
It's for a Scion and is a little shorter than stock Tacoma knobs, but works just as well.

 

This is awesome! Do the buttons control anything? I think they would be great for spot lights or something.. also inta bit kalim araby?

 

FYI 05 -07 dodge charger shifter same 8mm x 1.25 Used hurst pistol grip shifter for the charger.Just had to drill out to 3/8 inch up untill about 1/4 inch to threads because taco shifter little thicker than chargers shaft.Painted black because black one out of stock or not made anymore

 

Does anyone have the info on the diameter/thread pitch on 2nd gen auto Taco shifters? I've got an idea rolling around in my head...
