No problem man! I still had a blast during the time I was there and that's what makes it worth the trip!

There you are! I was looking for your username and could not find you for the life of me! Sick rig by the way man! I did end up going through the water a couple times , and I made sure I went in fast and hard. Haha hey if I'm going to do it might as well beast through it right?! Dude I'm down to go hit up Frank Raines for sure! I still want some different tires and rims though!

Someone correct me if I'm Wrong but I think the proper way to travel through water is slow and steady. Not light speed.

You're correct. It creates a wave in front of the truck and your able to drive right behind the wave in a small pocket of air.

But hitting giant mud puddles at 40+ is a good way to get an ear to ear grin.

    Hating much??

    As it did!! :D

The only reason I drove through it "light speed" is because the water wasn't huge, or deep. Not only that, I was not driving 40 probably not even 15. I might be pretty new to the offroading scene but I am not stupid either.

My wife pretty much gets a new kitchen. We are putting in the Tiles floors that look like wood

I was thinking of the ones that look like wood too but there are groves in them. It's nice for slip resistance but with all my dogs and cats, there's no way I'm scrubbin.

Haha. Exactly. Don't worry about some of these people Roberto. It cracks me up how people use this forum to "manage" people and their posts. This isn't 1992 and this isn't an AOL chat room. I think it's important for people to realize we're all Toyota fans, with different skill levels, different experiences, different pocket books, and different tolerances amongst our trucks. Not everyone can afford every mod, not everyone wants every mod, and many like a well rounded truck that you can have fun with off-road without having to prove anything. I don't think that makes someone a poser or noob, or anything else, it simply means they prefer to do what works for them, so stop hating peeps and do what works for YOU! Support eachother. The hating and sarcasm and micromanaging of people on here makes one seem incredibly insecure and childish.

IMHO I don't think that Cody was hating on anyone. In his post, he said "Correct me if I'm wrong". To me that sounded like he was given info and was just trying to expand learning.

Here in NorCal forum we really don't have any issues in terms of people hating. If anything, I'm the "different" one, being not only female but the one who has the most stock truck and is afraid to wheel. And if it's anyone to be picked in, it would be me. I've never felt anything but welcome. That's why I come out to the meets and stay on this forum.

This place is a lot more family like than it seems.

Oh and the saracasm if any, is because we are good friends and we know we can rib each other. Like me and Chris. He's always telling me to get in the kitchen and I'm always posting pictures of him in his hippy days.

    LOL :D
