Just bought truck on 6/29/13, and I should have my new tires and rims before end of July. So tires should have less than 1,500 miles on them by the time they come off my truck. 245/75/16

    $400 or obo

You are asking way too much for SR5 rims there my man, those sell on average for anywhere from $120 to $200 tops. Now if that's a local sale you're a go. If you had to ship them out you would be within reason to ask a little more to cover the costs.

Thanks for the advice. I know the rims are not worth that much, but seriously, new tires for $120? Hmmm. Someone has already offered me $350. I'd like to know where you can get new tires for $200, even 245's, because that would be a steal.

The problem is those tires are known to have a really bad, almost dangerous ride, which makes them nearly of no use, so what you are really wanting is the rims themselves. I would totally snaatch them up from you but I'm not willing to pay that much for them. Lol if you search the forums there are many people who have sold them for around the price I am mentioning. If you can get that much for them though that'sawesome!

I guess you don't read the forum rules. If he wants to sell them for 5 grand thats his deal. $400.00 for new wheels and tires is a great deal for someone that needs new tires.

I agree, they aren't the most stable tire for offroad use. But there's plenty of Taco owners who don't do anything but drive their trucks. That's who I'm hoping might interested in new rubber for a big discount. I've gotten two inquiries and hopefully, they'll be gone by next weekend. If you're right about the price, my wife is gonna be pissed...I already told her the money will cover a good portion of the cost of my new tires!

I'm not crapping on the guys thread, saying he's selling crap. I'm saying the price was a little up there. Trying to help a fellow brother out, you should know about that. No worries, I'll call the whaambulance for you.

I meant for onroad use, not off road :p ... Hey if you got some potential buyers for it that's awesome, either way GLWS man and from one service member to another thank you for your service!
