WELL It was very tough decision all in all and honestly got a little choked up when the guy drove my Tacoma away. BUT I will say, I bought my Tacoma 4 years ago for $16k and drove it more than 40K miles and sold it the other day for $18.2k Unreal, never heard of a truck going up in value. Although it was a good looking rig! and clean as it can get! I was only getting high 12's mpg's in the Tacoma, and got a steal on a 2007 Toyota Tundra crewmax SR5 4X4 with 80k miles. And it gets about the same mileage, so I was able to pay cash for the Tundra. THIS SITE HAS BEEN SO AWESOME THE LAST 4 YEARS!! Helping me with mods and maintenance!! I will still be checking in often, but here is the new rig! Thanks everyone that has helped in the past, and maybe the future haha

Those rims are not typical of an SR5 package, you sure it isn't a Limited? You should get the color matched door handles, makes a huge appearance difference

They are actually "Platinum" wheels, got them from a guy, pull offs of a '13 that never touched ground! I love the way they look, and I already have the color matched door handles and mirror covers on their way, lots of mods in the mail haha

Wasn't more than it's worth, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it! I had it on craiglist for under an hour before the first guy was standing outside waiting to drive it. Had 6 calls while he was, hell I might have even priced it a little low, they didn't even hit me with a lower price

Yep 4X4 got the Tundy for $16,500!! All the Toyota Maintenance records too, I pretty much made $2k+ going to a twice the size truck and still no payment. That's $2k worth of mods..... hope my wife doesn't check this site...

thats a good lookin tundra, definately still have a soft spot for them, and would loved to have gotten one if I could justify the fullsize/gas. Sad to see you got only 12mpg out of the tacoma but it makes swallowing the big V8 pill a little easier for sure.

Made out like a bandit, not gonna lie I am jealous

I'm not surprised...I tell people all the time (and I'm sure they think I'm exagerating) that my Tacoma is the first vehicle I've purchased that has actually gone up in value. I bought mine for $18,500 3 years ago and today you can't really find a good condition 2007 for under $20K.

I read online the other day that the Tacoma was rated the #1 vehicle for holding it's value. Jeep Wrangler was next on the list.

Have had 3, 2nd gen Tundras, great trucks. In stock form got 18.5 mpg average. But bigger tires, sliders, tools all added weight until I was getting 14-15 mpgs, tops. Traded for the Tacoma. You'll love the Tundra.

You can easily get over $20k for it, I could have easily got $19k. and mine had 130k miles on it. Yeah I am a Firefighter and all my buddies at the Dept. were like "Theres not way in hell you'll get anything near $18k hahaha"

Were they the 5.7's? Or 4.6? Mine is bone stock and getting 12, it's all stop and go driving around town. It rarely sees the highway. How were u getting those MPG's ?

Thanks man, it was very clean. Love the truck, and really? I was born and Raised in Ponca, cool little town to grow up in

I will say, I am on about 3 Tundra forums and NONE of them compare to TW, wish someone made another TW for Tundras. Either the guys don't know as much or they don't care to respond to anyones posts ha
