Get in touch with most of the dealerships asking for a quote ... Mountain States Toyota is easy to work with, as is Ehrlich Toyota in Greeley, CO.

Good idea. I'd email AutoNation Toyota (off of Arapahoe in south Denver formerly known as GoToyota). They gave me a price via email that none of the other dealerships would even touch.

I got mine for about $1500 under invoice by just emailing them for a quote. I'll go dig up my purchase price.

^^^ i got GoToyota down further than that on mine. The sales manager was a complete punk and i was at the dealership for 8 hours, He wouldnt even let me take the truck to go get food and come back to sign paperwork. The service at that dealership is the worst as well, scratched my wheels doing a rotate, tried to fix it with spray paint and told me they were as good as new. Needless to say they replaced my wheels. Ill never go back and never recommend anyone go to them.

Yea, their service is a total joke. I'm pretty sure they scratched my front left fender a while back, but unfortunately I didn't notice it till at least a day or two after I picked it up from them. I was pissed...

I purchased mine from GoToyota Arapahoe. Worst whole day negotiation ever. I was told i would get it under invoice based on a special they were running and it was only like a couple hundred lower than sticker. I negotiated all day and finally got almost 10% off plus they removed the dealer alarm and payment for the antitheft markings on the window.
    In 2007, I paid $25,500

Yea, I got about 10% off MRSP myself. I'm not saying that their service department is competent, or that their sales team is any good. But, to me, the $1k+ less that I could buy the truck for from them vs the other dealerships in Denver was worth the hassle.

Bought mine at Go Nissan on 104th, and I had a great experience. Granted a Nissan dealership isn't likely to have the Toyota you are looking for, I'm just giving props to Go/auto nation in general.

Go Toyota is the absolute worst, shit garbage ass dealer ever.

I was removed from there ( nicely ) by the Arapahoe sheriff after I went ballistic after they stripped all the lug nuts, scratched my wheels and my divers side QP during a major service on my FJ about 4 years ago.

I had a huge write up on the FJ forums that went all the way to the top at that shit hole dealership. I still was never compensated a dime.

Needless to say I will never in good conscience, ever send anyone I care about to them again.

If I had a customer in my business that I had to call the police to remove, you sure as hell wouldn't see a dime from me either. There's a better way to handle things.

Fact is I never raised my voice, used profanity or made a threat.
I wanted the damage they caused fixed and the tech got insulted when I called him a liar for doing just that.

I insisted I wouldn't leave until they fixed the issue and they said fine we'll call the police. That they did.

    You a business owner Grieby?

ETA: I see that I used ballistic in my first statement maybe that's why you assumed Im some sort of asshole.
That was a poor choice of words actually. It was more like inner ballistic and firm, resolved on the outside. Anyway.....

i wouldn't ever talk to the tech, i immediately asked for the service manager and then yelled at him. Problem was handled after the first time he tried to pull the fast one on me with the spray painted wheels. When he and i walked out to the truck to inspect them i think he was as blown away as i was that this was the fix job the company did. I definitely raised my voice with him as i was none to pleased!!!!

Lastly and not to derail this thread, but I used Larry H Miller in the springs for my 13 taco purchase and had a great experience.

He actually brought the tech up and let me confront him which I found odd.

Correct. Not that you were an asshole so much, but rather that you handled yourself poorly. It sounds like that was not the case.
