A good friend of mine who is a corporate attorney has me taking records of all attempts of
Contact and is helping me file a small claims case...

He said if he won't respond to that it will follow him wherever he goes...

That's if he has been using his real name and info during this whole ordeal....

I received a phone call from a forum member the other day about some members having missing items and some members trying to get warranty replacements.

Mea culpa, I apologize for not being around for the past few weeks.

I'd like to get everyone squared up in the next week or two. I have a small amount of leftover stock from which I'll ship warranty replacements through the end of July.

If you are missing something from your original order, please send me an email to sales@treklights.com in the following format, and I'll get your gear to you ASAP:

Once we determine what the issue is, I'll get a replacement sent out. The only thing you'll be responsible for is getting your malfunctioning light back to me.

We made many mistakes throughout this project. Mistakes that killed the business. After paying for air freight and issuing refunds, our coffers are empty. We know that we said shirts and stickers would be going out, but unfortunately we have no money to buy this stuff. Trek Lights is out of business, and will not be making a comeback. If it makes anyone you feel any better, we're about $9,000 in the hole on this project. No money was made.

However, your manufacturer warranties are still valid one year from your purchase date. After July 30, warranty replacements will be done directly through the manufacturer. If you need a warranty replacement after July 30, you can follow the procedure above and I'll give you further instructions from there.

I even got that email and I pulled out pretty early in the beginning. Sorry for all you of you guys that are still going through this crap.

I submitted my FBI/IC3 complaint, and then received the email from Troy. We'll see what happens...

 

Dude, this guy made out like a BANDIT. I've seen the manufacturer lists on this shit, I've seen the actual cost to vendors for these lights. I don't know about all the rest, but he was making a good $150 extra(at least) on that 20" light trash I almost bought from.

Lets do some math lol...kidding I don't wanna

 

AND that's just from MY light vendor, who's lights, so far, HAVEN'T turned bronze or malfunctioned at all yet, and my truck sits outside 24/7. So its looking like he used a shittier manufacturer...so he probably made even more cash off this by marking up ALOT.
