Replaced my rack and pinion bushings with energy suspension ones. Only took about an hour. Tightened up my steering some. Definitely worth the 40 bucks.

Then why ask? It's impossible to say for sure without actual measurements. Based on those photos I would say 50% is fair but if you don't want people to judge on a photo go buy a tread gauge for $5 and get real depths and then speculation is gone

    Because internets.
It's much easier to post pictures on a forum, ask opinions, and then state formidable disagreement to opinions.

Mileage isn't a good indicator of tread life.

We could buy identical tires for identical trucks and begin our journeys on them at identical times.

Then measure tread depths a few thousand miles down the road and be considerably different.

Driving habits, road conditions, climates, off roading, etc.. all affect tread life.

BFG All Terrain 265/75/16 starts at 16/32" and the wear bar where it should be replaced is at 5/32", so that gives you a total of 11/32" of depth to "use". The measurement on a quarter to George Washington's eyes are 11/32". So you have used 5/32" and have 6/32" left until you hit the wear bars. Now when you take what you have left (6) and divide by the total (11) you will get .54 or 54% tread left. Once again I would say 50% is fair

Finally got around to re-organizing my toolbox to put the co2 tank in. Definitely won't be permanent, but it works for now.

I'm just hoping it doesn't get too hot and blow the valve...

I really don't want to pay $40 for a co2 mount for the bed, but I think it's really my best option.

Like I always say... in 5, 7, 10 years from now you'll have completely forgotten about that $40.

It's not that big of an expense for something very practical and used regularly.

    IMO

You and your good reasoning.... Haha

I'm still working on figuring out exactly what I need for my cb setup. Once I figure that out I'll order the mount as well...

Hmm well I should correct myself because 4 of the 5 tires for sale are BFG KM2 265/75/16 and those start at 18/32. So total depth is 13/32" depth to use and you have used 7/32" or 46% tread left.

But that is based on a photo of a BFG all terrain which makes me ask, you said he is buying 2 of them so he must be buying the KM2's, why are the photos showing the all terrains depth? This KM2 looks even less depth than the all terrain

talked to discount this morning and the all terrain SPARES are 10/32 and the mud terrains are 8/32.

again not 50% and for a $200+ tire asking $100 mounted and balanced is not out of the question. I have seen worse sell for more.

I will not give these away. they are worth ever penny I am asking if you do not agree.. dont buy them.

also original post date was in march, it is now july.. I have driven more since then and yet today they were 8/32.. at time of photos they were close to 70% life. I drive a lot and was trying to sell them before they wore down any more.

even in current condition they are worth $100 each. they all ... ALL 6 have warranty at discount as well.

I have 4x MT and 2x AT spares.

I never asked to buy them, and nobody asked you to give them away. You came here and asked why your buyer backed out
