let's try this again, stupid Photobucket account

285/75/16 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ, TRD black beadlock style wheels, 1.25" Spidertrax spacers, 2.5" spacer lift up front, AAL's in the rear (about 2"), everything else is stock

rubs the inside corner edges of the fender flares and the front of the inner liners when turning, but it's all plastic and should be easy to trim off and be hardly noticeable once done (if I take my time...)

On my built full size I used a heat gun and bat. Don't drive though. You just roll the bat against the tire. Heat the paint, roll the bat. Dont care about the paint on my taco since I'm getting body work soon:cool:

Automotive Rustoleum primer and paint after using an evaporating degreaser/cleaner. I already had it all. I used many light coats of each.

Clearancing for a tire is the same with or without lift....the geometry do the suspension is the same regardless of tire size. If you clearance for 35s with a 6" or 3" lift to compensate for full stuff, it is the same as if it is on stock suspension...the only thing that would change that would be if you added UCA, LCA, or different bump stops....the distance from hub to flare is the same. 35s on stock, can happen, but be prepared to get it in http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/285871-2nd-gen-4x4-35s-3-lift-w-o-body-lift.html

ON A SORT-OF RELATED NOTE, SINCE THIS THREAD SEEMS TO BE TURNING INTO A CRAP SHOOT, MY PELFREYBILT PLATE BUMPER SHOULD BE HERE NEXT WEEK!

Replaced my 285/75 BFG KM2's with BFG AT's. Couple of observations... It's amazing what you can get use to, when it happens slowly over time. I had no IDEA how loud the KM2's had gotten until I put on the AT's. I can actually hear the engine at 2K RPM now, with the radio on.

Also, in case anyone is considering them, the KM2's got GREAT mileage, IMO (not MPG, but longevity). I had just under 53K miles on them. Rotated every 5K miles, religiously. Here's how the remaining 3 looked with 53K miles.
