Dealers who performed the Suspension TSB

Just got the truck back from TSB... awesome ride now! Feels much more like a truck. Can't wait to try it with a load in the back.

 

Dropped off my truck this morning for the TSB. Hopefully they do a good job. Will let you know how it turns out.

 

Toyota of Boerne finished my TSB yesterday. They replaced pretty much the whole suspension. They did a really good job. Truck suspension runs a little stiffer. They also did the alignment, rebalanced my tires, and knocked out a couple of dents. Very happy with the job that they did.

 

2009 DC OR, Toyota of Whittier, CA.

According to Toyota's Corporate Office, Toyota does acknowledge that the 2009's has the TSB parts whether the leaf code be F or G, it is still the 3 leaf springs and according to Toyota, they will replace the 2009 springs but it's just not YET included on the TSB.

Well, I finally got the TSB done for my 2009! Toyota of Morristown, NJ did the job after 4 visits and getting approval from the regional toyota rep. I could not have done it without all the info on this site.

 

toyota universe on rt 46 in totowa did mine just showed tehem the tsb print out, all good to go.

I called the 1800 Tuesday and got a call back from the dealership the next day. I brought my truck in today and they kept me for 2 hours to say "well it's not loaded with anything so we can't diagnose the problem. Come back with 600lbs in the truck". I called the 1800 number after I left and they said "people are trying to get this done now just to get the upgraded shocks installed. The will not put anything in your bed due to liability concerns". So now this is going to be a pain. I usually only have that kind of weight in the truck for work, and work is 50 miles from the dealership so I can't just drive by on my way somewhere with work stuff in the truck. I guess I'll put my living room in the truck and go back.

I love the way it rides now.

 

My 2007 DC PreRunner is having the TSB fix installed right now. Dropped truck off at Liberty Toyota in Colorado Springs, got no hassle from the maintenance folks - they simply asked to keep the vehicle overnight because I got there at 2.

I will update if I have any issued with the install, otherwise I recommend going to Liberty if you need this problem looked at.

 

hey confuzzed, i am a jersey taco owner in the denver area. i dont have my truck but am here for a business trip till july 25. i have only had my taco 2 weeks before i traveled so havent wheeled once or even gone wheeling. if you go outwhile i am here, wanna let me know so i can tag along, also, if youride with other tacos i am curious to see mods done.thanks.sorry for the thread jack

'09 taco tsb being done. Just showed them the tsb paperwork and pointed out that my VIN is listed even though its not an '08. Worked for them.
