I have a really good idea( in my opinion) for an online service but don't really have an idea of how to go about it. Has anyone done something like this before? I'd probably have to hire a web designer to create the website as i have no experience with that sort of thing. It would be a pretty technical webiste. Any help or some steps of what to do would be great.

Online service such as a legal document office? First that comes to mind when I think website+Business/Service.
Try giving us a general idea of what kind of service..

It would be sort of like Craigslist but much more in depth with people having user profiles. I suppose a dating website would be similiar format wise and with what kind of function is provided

In terms of how complicated the website is and maybe some of the searches it provides then yes it could be.

Anyone else? I mostly just don't really know how to get started with all this. I have the idea, and am coming up with how the business would function and all that. Not sure what the next step is
