    I was just offered a price of $26,900 for a 2013 base Access Cab with convenience pkg. and towing pkg. which is exactly what I told them I was looking for. The lowest price on TrueCar is $27,311. The dealer has to order it and has asked for a deposit. Is that a decent deal or should I try to make a counter offer and get them down a bit more before I commit?

    Paid 29700 out the door in Raleigh at Fred Anderson

    13 DCSB Silver Base 4x4 V6 Auto Tow SR5 Floormats Tint/Door Film/protector

    MSRP was like 32 flat, so out the door 2300 below MSRP. Was OTD slightly more than the truecar price (they are not a truecar dealer).

    Hello All,

    New member here. About to pull the trigger on a 2013 V6 4x2 PreRunner and wanted to get some feedback on the pricing from those in the know on Tacoma's.

    Have a low quote of $29,200 (not incl tax/license) with the below options:

    - TRD Sport Pkg
    - Display Audio with Navigation and Entune
    - V6 Tow Pkg.

    I thnk this is a good price but would like to hear thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Brian

    One can never have too many light bars.
    dbl cab sr5 4x4 auto. 32 out the door including the interest on the financing. I think i could have done better but I don't feel like I got robbed either.

    I think that sounds kind of high for a 2WD. For just a grand more you're in 4x4 territory. I would say 27 for that setup.

    USAA pricing is very much like TRUECAR pricing ( I think it's even run by the same website) for USAA members. Many manufacturers like Chevy have a deal with USAA to steer potential buyers to them.

    Yep its ran by true car. It gave me a paper showing what usaa states as fair market value. I used that a starting price. I ended up getting 1000 extra off due to military. I feel like I got a great deal. Dealer invoice was 29,700 something. I'm pumped haha.

    I just ran a TrueCar quote and the Truecar price is coming out at $29818 based on model and options. Based on that, I think I have to be pretty happy with $29200. Should I expect much lower than the Truecar price?

    Thanks to all for the advice. Looking forward to the new truck. Haven't owned a truck since the 90's.

    Sounds fair. Ask to see the dealer invoice. They told me only reason they could sell mine that low under invoice was due to the numbers of vehicles they sell a month. The military discount helped but they also wanna move what 13s they have left on there lot.
    If your happy with the truck and price then that's all that matters!

    I just picked up a DCSB 4x4 drive TRD Off Road with tow package in Pyrite Mica yesterday. I read through this thread multiple times and checked Consumer Reports and TrueCar.

    MSRP = $32,883
    Paid = $30,061
    Full tank of gas and rubber OEM bed mat included
    Tax, title, fees, etc. not included

    Northern California. All negotiations done via the internet. Best car buying experience ever. :)

    Got $22,000 for my 2012 ACC TRD 6spd.

    I'm picking up my 13 dcsb today, msrp-$32,575. It's an auto, v-6, 4x4 trd sport package, tow package, super white, $29k. With Maine TTL it comes to about $30.8k OTD. This price includes a college grad discount of $750. Will refinance next week to my credit union. (Used Toyota financing initially for rebate).

    There is a lot of truth to what they are telling you. I live in Chattanooga also, both Toyota dealers told me they can not get DC or AC 4cyl prerunners but GA dealers could.

    I'm in the Gulf State Region and bought my truck out of Houston Texas, here the details:

    I paid 30,500 for a 2013 Mag Gray TRD Off-Road DBCB SB w/ Tow.
    I pre-ordered the truck and it was waiting on me when I flew back into the country. I didn't plan on financing with Toyota until they told me they could offer a 2.9% finance rate and the 7/year 125,000 mile platinum extend warranty for 870 bucks. I see people getting them out the door for less, but I'm a happy camper. I'm super stoked to finally be back in a Tacoma.
