    non compressed music is always the best! All of my itunes library is converted to apple lossless format (higher bit-rate) takes up more room BUT the sound quality is fantastic!

    select your music, right click and select the apple lossless.. also in the filter settings on the top right click and select "bit rate" so you know which songs are the lame versions

    yeah... But to me my truck has an awesome system, so quality over quantity for me... plus I use pandora a lot too
