Nice! are you doing the brake line install yourself? I struggled through mine, it's not that difficult partwise (flarenuts suck always) but space and stepwise it's a B. And when you bleed the brakes you turn the key to the on position and the pump bleeds itself practically when you press the brake pedal, its sweet.

x2 on the brakes bleeding better with the key on. drop your spare out so you have room under the truck to maneuver a little better getting the old ones out and the new ones in. My pedal felt much more responsive with the SS brake lines.

Thanks for the tip guys. I will be going up to a local guy's house (Skygear) and he said he's happy to help me out. We replaced one of his front brake lines the last time I was at his house so I have a limited idea of what we're doing.

Hopefully I will have everything within a week, but AP kind of dropped the ball on working with me on a discount I got from a Facebook thing so I only ordered the flip kit this morning when I ended up just calling them.

My brakes don't feel bad right now but I would like a little bit more responsiveness so maybe they'll help me too?

Thanks! When I was new on TW, I got frustrated by people whose build's were unorganized because I was trying to figure out what to do with my truck and nothing was clear. So I like to think that people are able to navigate my build and find things out easily to get mods for their own truck.

It also really helps me keep track of my own mods and specifically my planned mods. Hence, the "Build Research" tab in my OP with all those links.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I think I will start adding links to all my stuff like you did. I plan on having my truck for a long time and eventually there will be too much to remember. Plus it's nice to be able to just go back to it.

Exactly. I use my "Planned Mods" and "Build Research" links a lot everytime I'm researching my plans because I like to see the differences in products, methods, etc, and having those links handy is really nice.

It also doesn't help that I'm a bit of a control freak about formatting and that sort of thing.

Ah, I also forgot that I should have the rear differential breather relocate done within a week or so, just waiting on the breather and union I ordered from the dealer.

Yea, easy mod that could really save you someday! Make sure you leave enough hose for full droop!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I will ever really need it, but it's better to spend $20 instead of get a contaminated differential. I was planning on leaving a good amount of hose slack coming off the diff, then a little bit of slack every foot or so where I zip tie it so there's plenty of slack for axle movement.

I did mine in maybe 30 min. I will say if I could do it again I would put it behind my tail light instead of where my gas tank filler is.

Yea, run it to the tail light or to one of the bed compartments unless you keep lots of stuff in those :D

I was thinking behind the taillight, but I know for a fact that dirt and water can get up in that area. I was planning on running it into the driver side (closeable) bed cubby. I keep some little stuff in there but nothing big, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Good and bad news. Got my extended brake lines in today, (Thanks Juny!) but the front SuperBumps are on backorder. Wheeler's agreed to send out my rears seperately though, so I should have those in less than a week.

I'm going to wait until I get the flip kit and the rear bumps to put in the brake lines so I can have a local guy (Big thanks in advance Skygear!) help me out with all of it. Should have all of it on within 2 weeks.

What kind of lines are those? Are they braided SS?

Yeah, from the GB. They just have a thin black rubber covering.

Ah ok. Couldnt tell from my phone. You should notice your brake improve. Mine felt stiffer, for lack of a better way to describe it.
