    compared to last year...this has been a very slow year for fires! Half the state was ablaze last year. we were camping like 10 miles from the fire line last year and could see the orange glow at night from the fire in the next valley

    and hey! I was boating when the fire started! I was in the middle of a lake. couldnt have been me :D

    we saw helis with water bucket flying overhead all day long, then at about 3 we see this huge plume of smoke coming up from up in the mountains. oh shit haha, that cant be good.
