So I've been a Tacoma owner for almost a year and just now getting around to modding mine. I have already done a few things to mine and am considering doing more. Now I am coming to the realization of how $$$ this hobby can be. Due to the $$$ I will have to wait and save some more. After seeing all the beauties on this site, I've wondered how many of you guys have paid for such badass trucks. So, without trying to be too personal, how did you guys manage to pay for your stuff?

Sold my motorcycle for the lift and tire money. Bought another bigger welder to make the other stuff. Worked some extra events at work for the stereo money. Can't take your money with you so you might as well have fun with it while you can. :D

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
worked full time through college, started a business about half way through college (still going), and then graduated college with a good job lined up. i've never put a paid for anything truck related with a credit card, always debit or cash.

my opinion is that many things (family/health/etc) are worth going into debt to protect/support/preserve, but but hobbies is not one of those things.
