    I get that but there are no statistics to support that the amount of accidents have increased directly due to text messaging. Face it, some people just suck at driving and if you outlaw texting/talking they will still find a reason to be distracted and cause accidents. When I drive, I watch out for everyone and I'll be damned if some people don't suck at driving regardless of if a phone is in their hands or not. So now I have to be subject to idiotic laws & even worse commercials because someone thought this would make the roads a safer place?

    I thought for sure there were some statistics to support the increase in accidents directly related to texting but nnnoooo all they have done is spin "distracted" drivers data in a way to appear as though texting causes it all. Regardless I just leave my phone alone while the truck is moving cause I just don't want to take any chances.
