    So I have my hi lift mounted on the bed rail using the hi lift lock rack. It's actually breaking the bed rail. I can post pics if needed. But basically the lock rack holds the jack up at two points on the bed rail and has two bolts going through the bed at each point. The weight of the jack and it bouncing around while driving is actually breaking the bed rail because it is so thin. Does anyone have any other solutions to mounting the hi lift?

    Do you have a bed liner? They have vertical notches for a 2x4. Spray it with bed liner and gorilla glue it in place or some other method of locking feature, the attach the mount to the 2x4

    6" ProComp lift from the dealer, slow build in progress
    Can you take some pictures of your mount as it exists now and the damage that you are seeing? I am working up a design for a bed rail mount for hi-lift and shovel/axe that is able to be locked (see photo) and would like to analyze the problems you are having before I go much further. Right now it is just a design on paper and some more ideas in the head, hope to start making chips in the machine shop some time next week.
