The last oil change I did was right after installing my new skids....and I didn't want to take those suckers off. The filter slipped out of my fingers, and down she went into the great abyss...lol. Of course, with the hole down....leaking ALL the oil onto the new skids.

Interesting. I pulled all my welds on my hangers. It's just what felt comfortable. When I weld them on I'll try pushing.

Its charcoal/smoke colored I would say, got it off ebay for $24, they sent me a 1-piece back window instead of a 3-piece and re-shipped me a entire new set (good since I messed up the drivers window...). I'll take a picture right now of it minus a passenger window, think I'll get some help on that one...

I got 35% for the front 2 windows and 50% for the rest thinking the factory tint plus the 50% would be enough..its not as dark as I wanted but oh well.

Well when you have a corner to corner weld its no big deal because you have a nice cradle for the weld to lay in, the weld on the front either way is fine, cant dealmy make it look good unless you have a deep groove. But like on a flat weld is what i am referring to. Over time you figure out what works by experimenting with what looks good and what doesn't. Any horizontal weld can really be done however you can see the best. Overhead i tend to always weld away from me. I dont get burnt and it lays flatter than dragging it to me. You will be a pro in no time. Just get some scrap and try different ways till you feel good about it.

X2. It's all about your technique and how you feel comfortable. The only time I ever push my weld is when I'm welding overhead. I found that my puddle doesn't try to drip down if I'm pushing. Any other time i pull. Also, if I'm welding vertical, I always try to go downhill because I suck at uphill and haven't figured out the proper technique yet. I've tried a few ways with no luck. I just need more practice lol.

Thanks! Yup it's a grillcraft. Simple install. Still need to swap their badge for an itty bitty toyota one I got.
