Get romeo to come out. Either that or come up and ride along with someone. I haven't been actual wheeling in years so this is going to be a refresher for me

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
There are still tons of trails that you can take your stock Taco on: Gallagher Lake / Fortune Creek, Tahuya, Cap. Forest.

OME is good for the price, better than other 3" options under $1K.

If you're looking for local shops to check-out, I know Perkins Perfomance is in Puyallup. They make high-quality custom bumpers/sliders etc., but they are $$$$.

Tallon (55chevy05taco) has been talking about doing custom fab work. Might be worth talking to him too.

Also check out Auburn Car Repair & Offroad (ACRO). Mike (Chickenmunga) has had them work on his Taco a few times, and the owner is an avid FJC racer.

^^^Noice! Support local businesses, and they know their stuff. I haven't been there personally, but I've talked to John on the phone. Seems like a good dude.

I like Perkin's quite a bit - I thought their stuff was very reasonably priced when I was in there

 don't you work for Boeing :p

Shit's way out of my price-range...I guess compared to other custom-fab shops it's comparable, but still a little spendy for me. ($1000+ for a bare-metal bumper)

Yes -- It's a 6X10 SilverShadow/RoughRider...a SilverShadow cabin on a RoughRider frame - I wanted the comfort/interior of the Silver Shadow but the off-road capability of the Rough Rider. It is color matched to the truck and will have the same tires/wheels as my Tacoma (they are at the dealer awaiting spacers). The skid plate on this thing is pretty beefy!!

I dare say I am in love with it.....sounds like you know your trailers!!!

Awesome, I was wondering why the cabin/kitchen looked different (better).
    Looks great man!

And I really don't know much about trailers, just THAT one. I read a review about it on Gitout and thought it was kick-ass.

I personally cant make the 27th since I'm in Vancouver visiting my cousin. Hopefully you guys won't have knocked Naches off the list. Been wanting to go up there!

...and I screwed myself again with the calendar (figuratively).

Can't do the 27th either, we rented a beach house near Ilwaco, and I already paid the $200 reservation deposit. Sorry guys, July and August are pretty well booked up for me.

Don't think I'll be able to make it for the 20th - and I go back to Dutch for the 22nd..

Had a great time in Hell's Canyon, though..

Damn, Jake. I wish I had as much initiative as you to go explore. I might've missed it from earlier, but are you doing Whipsaw this summer?

Unfortunately, not going to be able to fit it in for this Summer..thinking an epic cross country trip in Nov/Dec, though. Going to visit my parents in Rhode Island and tow a 17 foot skiff back from RI to WA..

I'm considering it.. We'll see. Drove cross country a few years ago with a fully (over GVWR) Tacoma, the skiff is plywood and will be on an aluminum I-beam trailer.

    I'm a glutton for punishment..

Ha, I would almost think to just have it shipped back home with a drive that long.... How much would shipping be?
