2013 DCLB TRD Sport - fits in garage with 1-2 inches to spare on each end. While I did not want/need a back up camera - it actually comes in really handy in the garage!

For me occasional need for hauling = long bed. My wife even says - if it is not a long bed what is the point? :p

Plenty of cab room/space. Seats (TRD) are comfortable.

I considered the 4Runner. I kind of like the 4th generation.

When I saw the curb weight of the new 4Runner, I cringed.

When I saw the sticker for a 4Runner spec'd like the TRD OR Taco, I said "No way". Nearly 30% more!

Anyway, I've got a DCSB with a shell on it. FJ has too little storage to compare, and I can't hose down the rear compartment of the 4Runner.

You don't like my reasoning? :boink:

You know how heavy the 4Runner is? So heavy I'm not sure I'd be comfortable using my floor jack to lift one.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I understand DCSB can be kind of quirky. I guess if there are embers, there really are some people on here who resent them.

But hey- I can be happy, knowing that at least it isn't a DCLB...

    Couldn't resist :D

DCLB looks akward. DCSB look more nimble and like a real truck IMO. If I wanted bigger I would of went with a Tundra. I manage everything I need in my DCSB.

    To each their own. :D

I think the short bed looks awkward. Like you said, to each their own.

I don't think so either. I really like black--leaning towards that actually. Want to see that next to a MGM.

Gotta do some measuring and see if LB will fit in garage. If so I may go that way. Rather have extra bed room if ever necessary. I like looks of both S/L beds, so mise well go long I guess.

Have to test drive them both before making that decision in the end though.

Best Truck for the money, great in the city, will run forever if treated well, No lack of power especially with a SUPER CHARGER!!!!!- Gotta Run Michelin LTX if you are worried about the ran, get a 4X4!! I live in FT Lauderdale and use 4X4 to blast through the heavy rains in the summer!!- Recently had to go off-road coming back from Universal on the Turnpike to get around a bad accident!!- TRD-OFFROAD!!

Just measure the length of your useable garage space, and do the math. Mine DCSB fits with about 2-3 inches on either side.

It accelerates well enough for normal driving. You can buy a TRD supercharger for roughly 4k, and you'll have a little more towing and passing power.

I like mine....a lot. Very pleased with the interior ergonomics and features. Is there room for improvement? Sure. But it's got a quiet cab, and intuitive placement of storage spaces.

I was cruising right along at 80mph...with the BFG AT's on it...also in TX. No issues. You're right though, tires make all the difference.

Color choices are completely subjective. I like white because it doesn't show scratches as easily. Black is a nightmare if you are anal retentive with paint.
