Alright, give me some good programs to burn more fat. Been doin abs like crazy, runnin a half mile before the workout, then either 2.5 miles afterwards at a steady pace, or doin intervals (running at 8 or 9 mph (I know, it's not super fast...) for 2 minutes, quick walk at around 4 mph for 1-2 mins) for about 20 minutes. Eating better. Still...not seeing results on the abs as quickly as I'd like. They're comin along, but not fast enough. I'm impatient. Haha. What do you guys do to burn fat?

Curious to know... I've been using C4 for a long time now (cycle on and off) but I was wondering what ya'll use? My body has been getting used to C4 and I think it's now to switch after I cycle. Any suggestions?

I use muscle pharm assault. Their orange-mango flavor is the best.

With pre-work outs, it seems that its hit or miss for some people, even with flavors. I like orange-mango, gave me a great kick, but I switched to their cherry lime, it does nothing. Idk...

    This :D

That's the faster way but not ideal! Diet, diet, diet dude! Alternate days of running and weights but not in the same session (from personal experience). 2 days of running moderately hard in the 3-4 mile distance and 1 day of 5+ miles. As long as you're eating clean with lots of protein and lifting.....you'll get shredded and won't lose muscle!

I would do cardio post lifting. The more muscle you pack onto your body, the more fat you burn, even when you're sleeping, so by doing cardio post weights you're ensuring that you get a more intense muscle building work out and buring what ever energy stores you have left with the cardio post lifting.

Also, abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym, so focus on that diet.

So I took 2 days off from the gym to cleanse and repair before I headed into my first physical in a while.

My main worry is that I'm destroying my kidney's and liver with all the supplements. Pre work out, intra work out, post work out protein, sleep recovery, gluatimine, etc... All muscle pharm products that I've been using for the past 6 months or so.

I had a full blood panel done after a 12 hr fast and everything was very normal, no issues what so ever.

Also, I recommend that everyone make sure that their vaccines and immunizations are up to date, and for men, please ask for the HPV series, yes, the one for cervical cancer. It is an STD and you can past it unknowingly to your partner since it doesn't affect us males in the least bit.

Even though your caloric count would be quite low with this plan, you are starving yourself nutritionally. You need a balanced diet.

You have a lot of good fats, high protein, but the sodium may be quiet high with the sunflower seeds, and you have minimal to no complex carbs, and fiber in this diet.

There is loosing weight quickly, and loosing weight the healthy way. The healthy way may take somewhere around 6 months, but I would still recommend it. I would talk to a nutritionist, most are covered by insurance, and start reading up on proper balanced diet.

Incorporate quinoa and lentels into your diet as a complex healthy carb.

    For me:
Breakfast: Protein shake, steel cut oat meal, banana
Snack: PB and J sandwich with organic almond butter, grape preserves, on organic raisin cinnamon bread.
Lunch: Quinoa with grilled chicken, asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, garlic, ginger
    Snack: Apple, banana, pear
Gym: Pre-workout, intra work out, then protein shake
Dinner: Turkey sausage, onions, red potatos, and lentels.

Just because you're on a diet, you don't have to be without flavor and variety.
I've made super healthy pizza at home with whole wheat dough, home made tomato sauce, and dried sausage
Red meat would be a once or twice a month thing due to the high fat content
I do like toasted 7 grain pita bread, with poached eggs, tomato, avocado, and red onion as a snack also, or even as breakfast.

Also, drink lots of water, avoid soda , alcohol, beer, etc...since its an unnecessary calorie.

Stronglifts 5x5 is what i'm doing now. It's thought of as a beginner program but I'm going back to it because i'm outside hiking and mtn biking more, and didn't have the stamina that i wanted to have. stronglifts is all about gaining strength, and working every muscle, it's not going to swell your arms up but it will have you sore everywhere in 35 minutes. Squatting every time you're at the gym isn't the most fun thing, but it'll harden you up!

    im plateaued at 200ish!!

breakfast- handful of spinach, cup of water, cup of plain almond milk, banana, half cup oatmeal, protein (either 1 scoop of powder or 2 tablespoons peanutbutter)

snack- couple pieces of beef jerky or apple with greek yogurt and peanut butter, or a cucumber or combination

lunch- chicken salad or steamed veggies with chicken or something with eggs (omelette with mushroom, onions, peppers. etc)

snack- same as earlier in day

dinner- hard boiled eggs and fruit or something light (acid reflux fucks me up if i eat heavy too late)

p90x 6 days out of the week (on day 41 now) with 3-4 days of light cardio (biking, 3-5 mile walks, 30 minutes elliptical)
    post workout protein or creatine

i came down from 235 a little over a year ago (size 38 jeans xl tshirt) and im stuck at 205-200 (size 36 jeans L tshirt) last 6 months. i drink like 1x a week (maybe 6 beers) and drink water with all my meals (and throughout the day) . ive gotten the most results with 40 days of p90x than 1 year of gym (cancelled gym when i got p90x). what can i incorporate or change to burn more fat? i dont like taking too many supplements so the more natural the better. im 6' 202lbs (as of this morning) and about 25% bf. thanks guys
