    Basically, yep. Now, as time goes one (assuming these BS laws stand) and more people have firearms manufactured after July 1st of this year there will need to be some sort of paper trail of who bought it and who they sold it to since private party sales require a background check. It starts to get real confusing but your approach will likely keep you out of trouble. I can't really envision a situation in which a LEO is going to be questioning you about a 10/22 that you're using at a sanctioned competition. If anyone asks you've had it since before July 1st, it's been in your continuous possession the entire time and if they have any further question they can contact your lawyer.

    Agree. My grandma passed away about two years ago now from Alzheimer's. It got so bad that she didn't know to eat, drink, or anything really. The body just shut down.

    They're not expensive & would be a drop in the bucket compared to what you're spending. You'll get the use out if it too, especially if you've got local competitions to attend. Shit is addictive.

    had an interesting time the other night. had to go help my buddy who's 6.0 up and died while they were camping. pulled him out from under the 5th wheel and then onto another fifth wheel trailer in the woods above idaho springs. was interesting to say the least and damn that thing is heavy. has a steel flatbed with boxes full of tools.
