New Pioneer stereo, and all 4 speakers with Infinity components. Sirius satellite radio. Deckplate mod done. Door buzzer silenced forever thank God, tinted windows, vent visors, hood protector(bug guard), ceramic pads and new rotors, dechromed EVERYTHING. 2" Lift front 3" rear. Skyjacker AAL's and replacement leafs(and front spacers) from Fatbobsgarage.com. Skyjacker 7000 Hydro rear shocks, those Bilstein 5100 fronts are coming soon!
What scared me about thesuspensionking.com is there are NO WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS at all anywhere anyhow. That is not cool....

Hm. Good point on the warranty. If you click U bolts on the menu on the left, you enter in whatever measurements you need, they're apparently $6 each. I could get a full set and couple spares, and still come in at half the aftermarket rate, and a quarter of what Toyota charges.

They're genuine pieces of crap! I never called Toyota, if their stock leafs last under a decade, there's no reason to use them. Of course, that turned out to be stellar performance, compared to Wheeler's...

Oh, rechecked S. King, there's upcharges involved on the U bolts, but it still looks like they max out at about $11 each.

Ya, at $6 how good are they? Know what I mean? No warranty on a part = junk.

Skyjackers also have poly bushings installed them.

$40 a pair is acceptable for decent bolts. You mean the Skyjacker springs come with bushings, right?

TRD: I've seen Alcan, do they have recipies for factory-type springs? It looks like all special-order on their site.

Got that right, if the OEM leafs were so great why are we replacing them....LOL.....

People say Wheelers all the time, but I just have my mind set on the Sky's. And a Lifetime warranty........ What is Wheelers? 1 year? LOL.

I just emailed Deavers to get a total price. Some of thier sets are $600+, on a budget here, but don't want crap either. Skyjacker has a good reputation too and at $435 not bad.

Ya, Deavers sound great if you have $700+ to buy them. I have a broken stock leaf that I have to get out of there like asap, and have $450 to buy with, so I will be Skyjacking my Taco.

Oops, my mistake. I thought I had a broken leaf on the right side. I actually have two broken leaves on the right, and one on the left. Awesome.

Dont they have a 2.25" lift with the greasable shackles?
and theyre made for loads so they shouldnt break. also come with a warranty...not sure how long it is though (front suspension components are 2yrs/24k miles)

I called another supplier out in Utah(Fat Bobs garage) they are going to get me replacement leafs for the one that broke, I will replace the same leaf on both sides, plus I am going to install the AAL's I bought from them in it too next weekend.

I just looked at my leaf springs and they are past flat. I only have 300# in the bed. Was it determined whether or not the 1st gen springs were supposed to look flat. I have 140,000 miles on it and most of it is haul/towing. Any suggestions as to a good leaf set made for hauling?
