    Worth quoting:D
I want to go to a snorkel eventually but I won't be going to fiberglass for a while and it's not worth what they cost now to have to then sell it and buy a different one when I go t fiberglass.
I removed my charcoal filter a long time ago... so any dust that passes my filter makes it into the throttle body...

Ok, I was changing my paper filters after every 4 or 5 runs. Buying 5+ filters a year was getting pricey.

I went with a oiled filter for offroad and a oil less filter for on. My throttle body seems clean so I assumed they were doing the job.

dont waste you time with URD if you plan on wheeling you truck. I went back to the factory intake after the I hydrolocked my truck 3 times running the URD....I was driving in an AZ monsoon BTW, not forging rivers....and I was running the "hydroshield" pre-filter.

Right now im running the factory intake with the hose removed, OEM paper filter, zero issues. I replace it about 4 times a year.

Damn man! I've heard lots of mixed stories about people hydro locking engines with this intake... luckily Idaho is a desert that rarely ever gets rain. I haven't seen a good downpour here for years now. Just small scattered showers a few times a year. Still though...

dude, I live in AZ... we average like 8" of rain if were lucky compared to your 12.5 hahaha. If I was able to hydro lock it out here I absolutely wouldn't run it anywhere that gets more rain than we do... which is just about everywhere haha. This is real desert :p
