What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I used a nail puller, maybe the claw end of the hammer would work too. Tape part of the ball so that way the ball doesn't go flying and loose it. Give it a couple of wacks and it should pop off. I clamped mine in a vise. File down the end you cut off then glue the ball end back on. Finally paint.

 

That was done freehand, so it's not difficult.

 

Right, but some of the locations of other stuff changed, and you can't just disconnect the sway bar on 01-04's lie on earlier tacomas. I believe it will interfere with some of the suspension/steering components when it is.

 

I did this a while back and like the look so much! I just gripped the ball with pliers and twisted and it popped free. I then ground down the fresh cut antenna to a point and glued the ball back on

 

Need to call the shop that installed my lift to get my truck aligned again. Didn't get the spec sheet the first time and my steering wheel is slightly off.

 

E-Brake fail maybe.

 

I was standing next to my truck watching him (yes, male) park it the whole time.

Sadly, that was his 2nd or 3rd attempt after pulling in crooked, backing out to straighten it, pulling it in crooked still, backing out, then pulling forward a tiny bit, then putting it in park giving zero fucks.

 

This person should not have a license.

 

Are they hard to replace? Is there a how too? Or write up

That's tragic, did you notify the Highway Patrol or PD?

 

Or call the DMV and give them the dumbass of the year award for giving him a license?

Giving zero fucks about your parking job doesn't automatically assume inebriation, IMO.
