    Yep.
Maybe you guys can help me out. Officially sold the house in NY, so PA is now my primary address which means the dreaded state inspection and new DL.

Currious if anyone has had issues getting passed from mod's on their trucks? Tires sticking out past fenders, no mud flaps, dumped exhaust, retrofits, plate bumper/HC rear...

With all that, anyone recommend a shop that is cool with our kind?

Dumped exhaust won't pass. Make sure to get a piece of exhaust to stick out behind the tire then take it off again

Well I failed at a jiffy lube before they even pulled me into the garage for tires sticking past the fenders which was bs I might add, but the mechanic I normally go to has not hassled me for tires no mudflaps, he has not seen the dumped exhaust yet so I'll find out in October

Does your new address have to pass emissions, mine doesn't so that could be a determining factor for inspection of the dumped exhaust

Yup, both Chester + Lancaster Counties req it

Awesome! Just have to get some pipe rigged up to the dual out... or buy a new cat back with a single and do a clean cut so I can swap it on and off every year.

Wonder if I could just register it back to MI under my parents address :anonymous:

You don't have to have your truck registered in PA if you have another addy to register to(your parents).

I moved from Florida to pa about 15 months ago and renewed my Florida tags 4 months ago- no issues, no hassle from the cops.

You will, however, need a drivers license in the state you register your truck in

    Yep.
Good to know. Only about 1/2 mile away from me

I like the idea of having my home plates on and never having to worry about a lame ass inspection. How did your insurance take it? Keep the address on file as the FL addy?

Weird that different parts of PA don't need emissions testing. I would of thought that's a state wide thing.

No emissions in Clinton county. Less than a mile from me you need emissions testing. Dumb

I am. When's the next meet?

    Yeah, new job.

As far as insurance and the gubment are concerned, I live in Florida, and have just been visiting PA for a long time.

Lots of things in this world are a no-no. I'd say this one ranks pretty low on the list.
Plus, most state laws regarding this subject state that a person must change their address on their drivers license(and get a license if you're new to the state) but this is only if the place you move to is your Primary residence. And they can't prove or disprove this very easily.

Yup. No mudflaps, tires are close could be considered over, plate bumpers, exhaust tip is cut off so it's several inches shy of the edge. No issues.
