I do really like it here. i just wish they'd tell me how long i'll be here for sure.

I do enjoy guns. Lived in Virginia and Florida previously, with a very short stay in Texas, so i'm just hitting up all of the best states for anything gun. just have to get a perminate address here so i can get a kansas ID and be able to buy again.

I'm game for beers anytime. Colton and I were going to try to meet up for some next week after his family leaves.

picked up a new toy for the weekend.....the kind that if you don't use it, you had a good weekend.

i have a corded one that i normally bring wheeling, along with a big power inverter to run it and other gadgets, but guess where that is....Florida!

I used to be against cordless impacts when they first came out. Now I love it.

my corded one puts out more torque, and will still be used in the garage/driveway, but after wheeling with some guys who used the dewalt, it was just too easy. it was a pain to break out the inverter and extension cord every time i needed it, and a breaker bar is just slow. i wheel with some guys who run air impacts off of CO2 and beld driven compressors too though. talk about torque.

I don't know how mosquitoes are down at the park. I've never had a problem with them. Not saying their aren't any bc it can get bad here in the city.

I hate skeeters, I have deep woods off I'm bringing just to be covered if they are bad. The spray can has 30% deet doesn't say how long it's effective. However, I also picked up a smaller plastic one a while back that says it has 98.25% deet and up to 10 hrs protection.

After spending 5 years in florida, i don't think i'll have any issues here, just wanted to be sure. I don't mess around with weak sprays anymore, learned my lesson. i can get you the brand, but i have 99% deet spray, and it actually does work for the specified 10 hours. there are also some great products to coat your clothing in that beat out any conventional spray on the market.

I should be good with what I got, I also found some I had that has 95% Deet and to the best of my knowledge it always worked just fine when I used it. No bites. Yeah I'm like you I look for the strongest stuff. If you come across a brand name, let me know for future reference. Plus it hasn't been a wet yr so it shouldn't be to bad.

Cool! I'm planning on leaving NKC between 6~7am, however long it takes to get there from here. As long as I can wake my happy ass up. I'll probably set the cruise control for about 60 any more and I'm burning gas. Been checking fluid levels and going thru camp gear, getting ready for the haul! I'm North of I-70.

Haha yeah we have a lot of colorful names for the cities here. Topeka is better known as Tapuka. You should swing by Krocks on your way and do a little wheelin. If not have fun in the Ozarks.
