I have a 2012 Nautical blue DC TRD OR. I am about to do a retrofit on my headlights and while I have them open I am debating on doing the BHLM. Now my question is, would it look stupid because it has the chrome around the grill? or should I just keep is chrome? Thanks

Ditch the chrome that's what I did with my off road. I did the BHLM a few days ago and think it came out pretty good.

This is black and not NB but it might help:

Think of it this way: you'll already have the headlights open which is half the battle. It'll be much easier to swap the grill down the road if you don't like it then to go back in and do the BHLM at a later point.

Go black while they're apart. If you dont, you'll regret it later and it'll look badass

I did it with my OR. The chrome isn't terrible, but it does look funny. 3 months later my color matched grill will arrive on Thursday from Camelback Toyota.

I'd do it, as long as you're comfortable knowing you will spend 200 bucks on a color matched grill later. Otherwise don't do it.
