Been in the Outer banks all week, driven on Carova Beach everyday and saw the wild horses each day. I am driving down Route 12 last night on the way to dinner in the wifes Pilot and who do I see in front of me JHodge83. I must say his truck is BADASS in person, My only regret is we didnt catch up sooner and spend sometime wheeling up Carova Beach. Here is the only pick I got of my Rugged Trail on the beach, I do have 7000 wild horse pics though... Notice the Sport Hood, Sport Grille and 09 Headlights...I have a pic of the back of Hodges truck headed down route 12, I will post it later tried to get the Tacomaworld.com sticker to vbe visable...Back to Ohio tomorrow. OBX is pretty fun, spent some time there ages ago. Used to live about an hour from it in E-city.

It is a pretty good time, my 7 year old daughter had a blast up on Carova Beach looking for the horses, she asked me to take her there everyday after we saw the horses first thing Monday. We are going to make one more run up there in a few minutes before we head home early tomorrow morning!

I'll be out on the OBX come the end of July, although with a PreRunner I don't think I'll be doing a lot of beach driving. I'll venture out onto some of the well-packed areas but I've seen too many folks get stuck and heard about the shockingly high prices that go along with getting un-stuck on the beach.

I know I wrote this before, but back home in OR, we used to sit on the beach approaches and wait for people to get stuck... then charge them 20 bucks to get out. Sure it was illegal, but it was fun.

i think the drivers charges there are about $75 a pull. i did see quite a few auto's being pulled out....an odyssey, an expedition, and a few others. hey slurp...we're going to be out there as a group 17-19 july if u'll be there then. more than likely down in the hatteras/ocracoke areas

Me and the family will be up near Kill Devil Hills July 23-27 for my wife's birthday, dang just after ya. We've never been to Duck and Corolla so we're staying in KD Hills and driving up to see what's at the north end of the OBX. Hopefully we'll find a few excuses to get the truck dirty :D
