I've never heard of it but I wouldn't doubt it's been done. I'm not interested because I love my truck and its color, timberland mica. How many miles on your truck tho?

If you are unable to trade, look into getting it painted professionally. Or to spruce up the Silver, paint the fender flares or get bushwackers to make things interesting. Good looking truck though. GLWT.

When I look at purchasing a used vehicle a repaint is something I steer clear of. You would spend 3 to 5k for a good job and would not get it back in a trade in or sale. Heck, you would probably lower the value of the truck. My .02

it would be better and safer as far as getting ripped off to simply paint the truck

Yea I not big into reprinting a truck wen the paint is fine already and trading is good for both parties web both are honest and you check them out good plus u aren't dumping extra money into it you ll never see again, (accesories can add some resale value and if not they can be removed, paint can't) lol

Don't underestimate the DERP! It actually holds up very well, especially if you put on enough coats, plus the clear coats. Then if you don't like it... Just peels right off. But in order to peel off you gotta actually pick at it to get it started, then it's easy. Either way its a good option for those that change their minds
