My wife said I have a 250$ budget for components. I'll worry about the amp she's just buying the speakers(or giving me the money for em). What would you go with? In that range I've found focal access, some hertz and of course every other brand (jl, alpine, etc). Should I buy new or just hit up eBay for some used higher ends?

    Opinions pls thanks.

Alpine deck and amp, Polk speakers front and rear, Kenwood subwoofer, windows tinted to 20%, Sockmonkey decals, TSB, Eibach springs and Bilstein 5100's
I'd go new, never know what people do with high end stuff. Sometimes in the winter I hear a car stereo from inside my house with the windows closed before the car is even in sight.

The focal access are awesome speakers, my brother in law got the Boston acoustic sr95s I believe and they sounded better than the access focals, all though both were perfectly clear the Boston's got louder

Wow that's a brand I haven't heard of in a while Boston acoustics. Completely forgot about those. I'm going to search some websites for other suggestions and pay them here. If anyone has the speakers I name off or heard them input about them would be nice.

Best budget rated set according to some audio website are the Polk 6501 for like 100ish dollars.
Best buy recommended the alpine type r and some kicker set. (Never heard kicker components just subs)
My friend is running infinity kappas they sound pretty clear. But he also bought this little box that had allot of dials on it to control the sound(not sure if that's like a separate external crossover).
Focal access I've seen for round 150
    Mb quart reference like 100
Also found hertz hi energy for around 200 to 250 (all the sound shops are recommending these)
Plus then you have the mid range polks, jbl, jl and other brands.
Anyone running any of these? went by a sound shop the hertz sounded clearer in there highs the the jl and alpines he let me here.

Last question I was planning on just using a 2 channel to run the components and letting the rear doors run of head is that fine? Or should I get a4 channel? Someone put alpine type s in the rear doors the coaxial type.
