Speedway blue rules!!! It's an awesome color even if it is dirty!

Did you really want to post this in the 1st generation folder? Speedway blue comes on the 2nd generation trucks. :D

Speedway Blue rocks when its nice and clean but then I may be biased too. My Subaru WRX was World Rally Blue so
    Speedway Blue by default.

Speedway Blue totally rocks, was the second most important reason I traded in my gen 1 green truck and got this one, just slightly behind the need for the bigger engine.

Of-course, all bt two of the vehicles I have ever owned have been blue, so I am also probably biased.

What year was your Green? Ironically I had a green 97 before I traded it up for the Speedway also. I don't really know why, but I find this weird.

I wished like hell they would have allowed me to special order with the Green they currently use on the Sequoia. I went all the way up to corporate and got a No way, No how.

There must be some reason green paint doesn't stick to Tacoma's?

It was an 04, Imperial Jade Mica they called it. I really loved that green also, and if it were still offered it would have been a tough choice when I ordered this truck.

My tacoma is also speedway blue, and there was a time when I liked the black, but am glad I chose blue. The first comment I usually get regarding the truck is "NICE COLOUR". Plus, for the lady's, it brings out the blue in my eyes.

Ok, I have the silver streak mica, but one of my associates at work has the double cab short bed in the blue and it is sharp. Put mine next to his and as far as color he gets it hands down. The only bonus to mine is it doesn't show the dirt and mud like his does. It is a very good looking color. If I did it all over again I would have gotten this on mine.

    Oh Yeah!!!
Speedway Blue is an attention getter. But, I must admit seeing any Taco on the road kinda gets my attention. Lets just all admit, it's a sweet truck no matter what color.

As far as dirt,,, The pollen count here leaves a heavy yellow hue on my truck everyday, but it is not enough to take away from that attention getting BLUE:D
