Thanks man! The color has really grown on me..love how it shines in the sunlight. Haha you have no idea how tempted I am to slam it!! Thing is, I wouldn't be able to get into my driveway slammed because of a sizeable hump of asphalt on the edge of the road :(

Checked out your blog. I love the bikes but even more I love seeing your 5-lug do work. They are very capable trucks.

I basically have 90% of what's needed for an SR5. I've got all the interior options. Looking at your truck I want the bumpers and grill too.

Extremely capable. I know of no other truck available at this time that is this dependable that can:

    - Pull over 3000 lbs.
    - Pull over 2000 lbs fully loaded up-down-up-down-up-down over a mountain range in a hurry.
    - Yank State Troopers out of ditches during ice storms.
    - Give you 500 miles on a tank during optimal conditions. Some hypermilers can go extreme for upwards of 700 miles.
    - Look that good while doing all of the above every day of the week and never complaining.

Someone may have thought they had another truck in mind but that last one got them.

295k miles? Holy crap. You da man. I love your truck. What major costly maintenance?

Nice blog too. I wish I could lane split.

Please keep us updated. I think it's really cool you're turning the wrenches yourself.

Hell yeah man I love it too. But the front suspension requires a lot of tools for the UCAs, a grinder and some welding...so that part had to go to a shop :/

That's understandable. Whenever I'd build an engine when I was into that, I'd use a machine shop to bore the block, shave and port the heads, back cut the valves, etc. I was good at turning bolts.

I like how you've played up and made a great looking red/black color scheme. That 2nd pic looks like it could be a Windows desktop.

What's the PN on the Icon 2.0s? Wonder if they are the same part as 6-luggers.

The only thing that was done by a shop was Firestone, for the alignment :bananadance:

My buddy was actually comfortable enough to grind the stuff off! Helped out a lot!

^That's pretty impressive, same rear wheel travel as 6-luggers.
