The exhaust just has to exit outside of the passenger compartment. Mine ended under my bed, no issues...Of course, I am pretty good friends with my mechanic.

This. My truck is registered in Allegheny County where there is emissions testing and I've never had a problem with my exhaust being dumped after my axle. That's with multiple shops doing emissions testing.

Depends on where you're at.....and of course, the inspection station can sometimes overlook things (mud flaps, flares, etc). However - if you don't take care of things, you can/will get pulled over.

Dumped exhaust is a NO-NO. Even if you you're EXEMPT from emissions (under 5,000 miles per year), you still need to have the basics. They just don't hook you up to the computer. Exempt status is visual.

Fender flares & mud flaps need to be there - again, some inspection stations may overlook those. But the cops might not depending on where you are.

Bumpers are fine.... Lighting has 'specifics' also, like...must be 20" apart center to center. You can pass if you remove power to the lights. My garage is pretty lenient, but I disconnect my lights anyway every year.

Bumper height.....I think 29" is the max. I've never had an issue with this even with my jeep.

There's an angle figure they use for mud flaps I think. And if I'm correct when you do the math your mud flaps have to be within 3" of the ground. I may be wrong about all this

    Howdy folks,

Been lurking for a bit and finally signed up. I'm Central PA, bout 45 minutes NE of Harrisburg, 60 minutes east of State College. Had my Tacoma for about 2 months and already managed to mush a whitetail.

Yeah I was doing about 50 coming down into Loganton and it jumped right out in front of me. Not even enough time to start cussing, let alone hit the brakes. I've got an ARB sitting in the basement waiting to be put on, truck goes in the shop tomorrow to get everything fixed up on the insurance's dime. I would have just put the ARB on but it bent the fender and damaged a headlight.

Bumper wasn't actually damaged, just all the plastic around it.
